Hello everyone,
It is Sunday afternoon 1/20/08. Welcome to my travel blog. I hope to post information about my trip to Myanmar, also known as Burma, as I go along. It will be a great adventure for me. Tamara (Lloyd's oldest daughter) is a teacher there and has been in Yangon for nearly 3 years now. She will be supervising my visit -- as much as any offspring of ours can supervise their parent. She does know the countries and will point me in the right direction in my travels to see and experience as much as I can in the time I have there.
Tomorrow is the first leg of my trip. I'm stopping off in San Francisco to see my youngest son, Chris, for 2 days before I start the really log leg of the flight. My itinerary takes me from Denver to San Francisco and then from there on Thursday via Singapore Air from San Francisco to Seoul, South Korea for a short layover, then to Singapore for a longer layover, then finally arriving in Yangon, Myanmar on their Saturday at about 9 AM. That would be about 7 PM Friday night Denver time.

CP!!! Oh, I am so excited for you!!! I can't wait to read about all your travels!!! Oh, thanks for the advice on the Ski Towns. I really just want to live there for a year. Even if I wanted to live there year round, I don't think I could afford a home! Besides, don't like the 20 something crowd. You advice is fab! You are the best!
